Sr. Helen was a champion of the poor and underserved which led her to help establish Opening Doors.  Her tireless work continues to impact our community.

Sr. Helen’s passion for helping women and children touched many, including Joe & Linda Chlapaty. Her death came as a shock, and inspired the Chlapatys to honor Sr. Helen and her legacy with an amazing gift of $100,000.
