Francis Apartments

Permanent Housing. Lasting Stability.

Francis Apartments is Opening Doors’ Permanent Supportive Housing program designed for women and children who have experienced homelessness and are ready for long-term stability. This program provides affordable housing combined with ongoing support services to help residents maintain independence and prevent a return to homelessness.

Opening Doors subsidizes rent for eligible tenants, and residents continue to meet regularly with a Case Manager to receive personalized guidance and wraparound support. This proven approach helps break the cycle of homelessness and promotes long-term self-sufficiency.

Who We Serve ...

Francis Apartments serves women and children who have successfully transitioned through our other programs—such as Teresa Shelter and Maria House—and are prepared for permanent housing with continued support.

All residents must begin their journey at Teresa Shelter to be eligible for any Opening Doors housing program.

How to access services ...

Women interested in entering any Opening Doors program, including Francis Apartments, must first complete an intake at Teresa Shelter.

With the help of both the Teresa Shelter and Maria House I know I can do anything if I just stay positive and put my mind to it. With you having “Open Doors” there is hope for everyone who enters the programs.
