Opening Doors and College Partnerships
At Opening Doors, we are committed to nurturing the next generation of social service professionals through hands-on experience and meaningful engagement. This spring, we had the privilege of welcoming four dedicated interns from three colleges, each contributing their unique skills and passion to our programs.
Our partnerships with Loras College, Clarke University, and St. Ambrose University create a pipeline that introduces students to the realities of social work while enhancing our capacity to support women and children in need.
A Pipeline for Future Leaders
Opening Doors is proud to collaborate with local colleges to create a strong pipeline for future social work professionals. These partnerships not only provide students with real-world experience but also strengthen our programs by bringing fresh perspectives and innovative solutions.
Many of our past interns have gone on to pursue careers in social services, with some even joining our team full-time.
