Lauren Krapfl joined our full-time team in May 2023 as our Program Support Specialist. Besides working with the women and children we serve, she also leads our volunteer team! Specific Duties: This position would provide office assistance and such duties as filing, answering phones, and other tasks at Teresa Shelter.
Specific Duties: This position would provide help with organizing and planning events such as Trivia Bowl, Relay Iowa, Filling Your Cup, Attitude of Gratitude and information booths. at various community events.
Specific Duties: This position would provide scheduled transportation for our adult residents to the grocery store. Sundays from 2 to 3 PM.
Specific Duties: This position would provide help at Maria House on evenings or Saturday afternoons.
Specific Duties: This position would provide child care for mothers as needed.

Opening Doors partners with local colleges and organizations to provide internships, work study positions, and field placements.
